Job Title: Sales Account Executive – AI & Custom Software Solutions

 

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah or Remote options available

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Account Executive with a passion for technology and a proven track record in B2B sales to join our growing team.

 

Role Overview: The Account Executive will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities with companies looking to leverage AI and custom software solutions. You will work closely with our technical and product teams to understand our offerings and effectively communicate value propositions to prospective clients. This role requires a combination of sales acumen, technical understanding, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key decision-makers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Prospect and Develop New Business: Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within target industries for AI and custom software solutions.

  • Client Consultations: Conduct discovery calls and meetings with potential clients to understand their business challenges, identify needs, and position our AI solutions accordingly.

  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs, showcasing how AI solutions can drive value.

  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to deal closing, ensuring a seamless and consultative sales process.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including product, marketing, and development to ensure alignment on project delivery and client expectations.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and provide regular forecasts to leadership.

  • Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date on AI trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to proactively position solutions that differentiate EmbryonicAI, Inc.

  • Customer Success: Ensure smooth client onboarding, fostering long-term relationships to drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

 

Key Qualifications:

 

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in technology, software, or AI-focused industries.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience closing deals in the $50k-$500k+ range.

  • Technical Aptitude: Understanding of medium sized business needs (generating $10 to $100 million in annual revenue) in a specific industry and the ability to understand complex business processes

  • Consultative Sales Skills: Strong ability to identify client pain points and position custom solutions to address them.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to C-level executives.

  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Self-Motivated: A proactive, results-driven approach, with a passion for technology and innovation.

  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce, High Level, Close.io or HubSpot for pipeline management and reporting.

 

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience working within AI, machine learning, or software development environments.

  • Knowledge of industry verticals such as healthcare, finance, or manufacturing where AI solutions are highly applicable.
